Leafwrit is operated by Igor Soldatov, an individual based in Argentina. Contact: [email protected]. This policy covers the leafwrit.com portal and pre-registration, rather than data processing inside a future mobile app.[1][2]

With your explicit consent, we use your email address, chosen platform (iOS or Android), country, language and signup page to manage your pre-registration and contact you once when Leafwrit launches on that platform. The system also stores the registration time, consent version and text hash, a random deletion identifier and a keyed fingerprint of the IP address for abuse prevention. The waitlist database does not store the raw IP address. Consent is optional; you can read the portal without registering.[2]

Storage and access

Registrations are stored in a private database outside the public site directory. There is no automatic expiry for registrations in the current implementation. They remain until deleted. Rate-limit counters expire after their configured window and are cleared on a subsequent request. The operator can export the waitlist manually; the portal does not automatically send email or forward registrations to a CRM. We do not sell registrations or provide them to advertising networks. Infrastructure serving a request necessarily processes its connection address; this statement about the waitlist database is not a promise about every hosting log.[2]

Cookies and tracking

The portal measures page visits using Rybbit, the operator’s own analytics, hosted on the operator’s servers. Analytics data stays on those servers and is not shared with advertisers. We record the page address (including URL parameters), referrer, browser and device class, screen dimensions, language, country derived from the request, and a pseudonymous visitor code salted and changed daily. Analytics does not store IP addresses or set cookies. We use it to understand which pages help readers. Outbound and download clicks and technical page errors are also recorded. Events have no automatic deletion deadline. The script reads browser localStorage for existing identifiers and opt-out settings; if a URL contains a valid clickid, it saves that identifier in localStorage and can reuse it on later visits, independently of the daily visitor code. Leafwrit does not call the script’s user-identification feature. Choosing a platform or opening the registration dialog does not send a registration; submission requires the form and your consent.[2][3][4]

Withdrawal, copies and corrections

Write to [email protected] to withdraw consent, request access to your registration, correct it or ask for deletion. The operator can provide a signed deletion link; opening it displays confirmation and confirming deletes the matching working database record. This does not automatically erase earlier exports or backups; their removal requires separate operator handling. Before introducing another processor, tracking or a different purpose, we will update this policy and obtain any required consent.[2]
